In September 2023, my wife Barbara and I decided it was finally time to update our outdated kitchen. After reading many reviews, we contacted three highly-rated contractors in the Lancaster, PA area for their solutions and quotes.Our requirements included:* New cabinets* Replacing our tile floor* New countertops* New patio door* Remodeling an adjacent powder room* A solution for a difficult-to-reach cabinet* PaintingAfter careful consideration, we chose Lancaster Kitchens and Baths (LKB) in Salunga, PA. Steve Reed, our salesperson and project manager, impressed us with his enthusiasm and can-do attitude, working within our modest budget. The other vendors either exceeded our budget or didn't fully address our needs.Steve also identified a critical plumbing issue in our home, built in 1995, which had Quest plumbing known to be unreliable. Including the plumbing repair in our remodel was a tough but necessary decision.Steve’s team provided a beautiful and functional kitchen design. They were flexible with our specific requests, including:* Darker lower cabinets and lighter upper cabinets* A half-moon pull-out for a blind corner cabinet* Purchasing our own powder room vanity, mirror, cabinet handles, and pulls* Adding stainless steel wall plates, a patio door with built-in blinds, and additional design elements to the backsplash* Installing our chosen fixtures and a quartz countertopWork began on 12/7/2023 and was completed on 1/11/2024, right on schedule despite the holidays. The final result is stunning, with superb craftsmanship. Kudos to Steve, Seth, “Farmer,” Blaine, and Anthony for their excellent work. We highly recommend LKB for anyone looking to remodel their kitchen.HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Anthony and his team did a wonderful job on our bathroom - they were a pleasure to work with, were always happy to answer our questions, and left the bathroom looking great. We were impressed with how clean they left the area around the bathroom each day when they were done working, and how much care and attention they put into communicating with us. Thank you so much, and would definitely recommend them to anyone having a bathroom redone.
Very satisfied with the work on my kitchen. Communication was excellent. Steve was great to work with, and made us feel that our job was important to him. Some work ended up being done Easter week, and they went out of their way to make sure I could still cook Easter dinner. Highly recommended.
Excellent job done ( 8/5/24) on our shower remodel. From sales person Nick, to Anthony project manager.and to the guys who did the installation all went great. The product used for the shower is awesome. Everyone was friendly,, paid attention to detail and made sure everything was protected and cleaned up when done. This company will our choice for any install in the future.
We had a good experience. There were a few hiccups, but they were dealt with professionally and we love our finish product and more important, they are good people to work with.
The team at Lancaster Kitchens & Bath did an incredible job renovating my master bathroom. These folks keep their promises! A responsive, skilled team is with you every step of the process from the initial consult and design, to support for material selection, and a friendly onsite crew who knew their stuff. They know how to listen, pivot when changes are needed, and use great materials. Special shout out to Dennis whose customer service really sold me on their approach and Hannah who assisted in translating a paper design into what you see in the photos by working with me closely on selecting all the materials. She has a great eye! There were so many awesome folks like Farmer who came to my house and treated it like their own- if I try to name them all, I’ll miss someone. Highly recommend!
From beginning to end of this process the Employees of Lancaster Kitchens and Baths were Professional, friendly and became family. It was a large job so we saw them daily for a while so it was good that we liked everyone. We had some ideas of what we wanted but also needed some guidance and they had beautiful ideas for our rooms. We would definitely recommend them and plan on having them do additional work for us in the future. Thanks Everyone!!
